Known as the Dwarf Bigleaf Magnolia, this remarkable species lives up to its name with enormous leaves that can grow longer than 2 feet, creating a bold and striking presence in any garden. The fragrant, creamy-white flowers are equally striking, spanning up to 12 inches across and frequently highlighted with a subtle purplish eye. It thrives in a variety of exposures, from shade to full sun, but requires some protection from cold winter winds during its juvenile stage.
