Description

Clematis macropetala ‘Blue Bird’ (1962) is a Canadian classic bred for the prairies by FL Skinner. It combines beautiful nodding sky-blue flowers and excellent cold hardiness. ‘Blue Bird’ is also tolerant of open shade exposure and has excellent vigour.

Flowers 2-3” wide / blooms April-May / grows 8-12’ tall (2.5-4m) / sun to bright shade / Pruning Group A / USDA zone 3 / 1-gallon pot
