Description

One of the first deciduous shrubs to flower in our forests, with abundant pendulous racemes of starry white flowers from late February to May. These are followed by tiny plum-like fruits that mature from orange to a deep purple on female plants.

Grows 8-15’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 6. Open shade to full sun. 1-gallon pot.
