A rare and cold-hardy hybrid of Magnolia sieboldii and Magnolia obovata, this exquisite variety originated in northern Japan. The exceptionally fragrant white blooms begin in a tulip shape, gradually opening to reveal a striking burst of red stamens at their centre. The flowers, measuring 6 to 8 inches across, create a dazzling display from May to June, offering both beauty and fragrance that will enchant any garden.
