A rare and cold-hardy hybrid of Magnolia sieboldii and Magnolia obovata, this exquisite variety originated in northern Japan. The exceptionally fragrant white blooms begin in a tulip shape, gradually opening to reveal a striking burst of red stamens at their centre.
