One of the smallest Magnolias, ‘Genie’ reaches a mature height of around 12 feet, making it ideal for smaller spaces. It produces striking near-black buds that unfurl into deep maroon-purple blooms, which gradually fade to a stunning magenta-rose. ‘Genie’ is adorned with coppery-bronze autumn foliage and is slightly more cold hardy than most magnolias. 

Grows 10-12’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 4. 5-gallon pot.
