Description

Our native Bleeding Heart is found in evenly moist soils and forms a carpet of finely cut, fern-like green to bluish-green foliage. The delicate pink, white or rosy-red blooms stand on arching stems just above the foliage, blooming steadily from spring to midsummer. We are offering three forms, the species, ‘Aurora’ (bluish foliage, white flowers) and ‘Bacchanal’ (deep rosy-red blooms).

Grows 12-18” tall. Hardy to USDA zone 3. Shade to partial shade.
