Description

Clematis ‘Rouge Cardinal’ (1968) is one of Mike Lascelle's personal favourites as it has glowing burgundy-crimson blooms that look velvety. Clematis ‘Rouge Cardinal’ also features excellent vigour, good cold hardiness, and a bloom period that lasts all summer.

Flowers 4-6” wide / blooms June-Sept / grows 8-12’ tall (2.5-4m) / sun to part shade / Pruning Group C / USDA zone 3 / 1-gallon pot
