Mrs. P T James’ (1965) is a BC variety bred right here on Salt Spring Island with sparkling bluish-purple double blooms in June. These are followed by equally attractive single flowers throughout the summer.

Flowers 6-8” wide /  blooms June-Sept / grows 6-9’ tall (2-3m) / sun to bright shade / Pruning Group B / USDA zone 4. 1-gallon pot.
