‘Tamukeyama’ is a 300-year-old selection from Japan known for its vigourous growth habit and timeless beauty. This weeping cultivar is prized for its rich burgundy-red foliage that persists from spring into summer, creating a striking contrast in the garden. As autumn arrives, the leaves turn a brilliant scarlet, making it one of the most eye-catching varieties of weeping Japanese maples. With its graceful cascading form and dependable colour changes, ‘Tamukeyama’ remains a classic favourite for both seasoned and novice gardeners alike.

Hardy to USDA zone 5.
