Description

‘Midori no Teiboku’ is a spreading weeping Japanese maple that lives up to its name, which translates as "green and spreading." A chance seedling of ‘Viridis,’ this cultivar is known for its impressive width, reaching 7–8 feet in 10 years, while maintaining a modest height. Its finely textured green foliage creates a graceful cascading effect throughout the growing season. In autumn, the leaves transform into a radiant mix of yellow and orange, adding a warm glow to the landscape. ‘Midori no Teiboku’ is perfect for large containers or as a specimen tree.

Grows 3’ tall.
Hardy to USDA zone 5.
1-gallon pot.
