Although the name means ‘red azalea’ what you are getting here is a stunning Japanese maple with chartreuse new growth delicately marked on its tips with a rich burgundy red, hence the common name fingernail maple. It is no less impressive in fall with bright red autumn tones.

Grows 14-16’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 5. 1-gallon pot.
