‘Rhode Island Red’ is a compact alternative to ‘Bloodgood,’ reaching just ⅓ its size. Its foliage emerges bright red, matures to a rich reddish-purple, and transitions to fiery orange in the fall. This petite variety is perfect for smaller spaces, offering all the vibrant seasonal beauty of its larger counterpart.

Grows 6’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 5
