This rare but hardy species produces large (1.5-1 3/4”) brown fruits which have a distinct spiced apple sauce flavour once fully ripened in late October. These are well-pruned mature specimens that are already bearing fruit.

Self-fertile.

Grows 12-15’ tall.

Hardy to USDA zone 5.
