Description

This diminutive species is native to mountainous zones and the bright yellow blooms can be found from April to July when the hummingbirds forage it for nectar. It is also a heavy producer of dusky blue berries that can be harvested and processed into a delicious jelly.

Grows 1-2’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 5. Shade to part shade. 1-gallon pot.
