German Red is a rocambole hardneck variety of gourmet garlic. It’s a chef’s favourite as it peels easily, it’s excellent roasted, and it adds wonderful flavour to soups, stews, winter vegetables, and roasts. It produces medium-sized bulbs with a strong, spicy flavour. Use within a few months.
