Description

Dogwood ‘Venus', a Rutgers hybrid, has huge bracts (can grow 6” across), which are produced plentifully in May. These are nicely accented by a central green seed cluster, followed by red ornamental fruit afterwards. This cultivar has excellent vigor and the lustrous green foliage shifts to an eye-catching orange, red and purple in the fall. ‘Venus’ is also a Great Plants Pick selection.

Grows 15’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 6. 5-gallon pot.
