Most experts feel that ‘Summer Gold’ is the best gold-variegated Cornus kousa on the market, much in part to its upright growth habit and the non-scorching foliage. The prominent yellow margins look great throughout the season, with subtle pink highlights in spring and flaming rose leaves in the fall. The pure white bracts are abundant and nicely highlighted by the contrasting foliage.
