Description

A newer variety of Cornus kousa var. chinensis with unusual large-leaved foliage that has a distinct glaucous or blue cast to it. ‘Blue Ray’ blooms later than most Chinese Dogwoods with large creamy-white bracts that are star-shaped and overlap at the midway point. Great disease resistance and maroon autumn hues add to its overall aesthetics, making it quite unique.

This variety is also in very short supply. Grows 15’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 5. 3-gallon pot.
