Description

A florida x kousa hybrid developed by Rutgers University with great disease resistance, particularly to anthracnose. ‘Aurora’ produces large 3-5” wide white flowers from April to May but is sterile, meaning that it produces no fruits. This cultivar also has consistent growth, growing as tall as it is wide and bears bright red autumn foliage.

Grows 15’ tall. Hardy to USDA zone 5. 5-gallon pot.
