A favourite among Dogwood trees, much in part to its excellent vigor and dazzling display of pure white bracts that cover the entire tree canopy. It differs from Japanese Dogwood with its larger bracts and more upright growth habit. Chinese Dogwood is a heavy producer of rose-red strawberry-like fruits that are produced just before the foliage shifts to a deep scarlet. This is also a Great Plant Picks tree selection.
