Description

Clematis ‘Vyvyan Pennell’ (1959) is probably the best-known of the double-flowered Clematis. It displays showy violet-blue petals accented with red tips and veining. The blooms are fully double in the early season and are followed by single form in August.

Flowers 6-8” wide / blooms May-June & August / grows 6-9’ tall (2-3m) / sun to part shade / Pruning Group B1 / USDA zone 4 / 1-gallon pot
