Description

Clematis ‘Mrs. N. Thompson’ (1954) is probably the most popular bicolor we sell, as once the flowers open, they tend to leave the nursery quite quickly. Expect deep violet-purple petals sharply contrasted by vivid red bars and yellow stamens with burgundy tips.

Flowers 4-6” wide / blooms May-June & Sept / grows 6-9’ tall (2-3m) / sun to part shade / Pruning Group B1 / USDA zone 4 / 1-gallon pot
