Clematis montana ‘Freda’ (1985) is one of the more compact montana types with deep cherry-pink blooms in spring. ‘Freda’ also sports beautifully bronzed foliage that stands out for the rest of the year.

Flowers 2.5-3.5” wide / blooms May-June / grows 12-15’ tall (4-5m) / sun to bright shade / Pruning Group A / USDA zone 7 / 1-gallon pot
