This hybrid of acuminata and liliiflora produces cheerful, bright yellow flowers, 3 inches wide, that appear alongside the foliage. With a graceful conical form when immature, it grows fairly readily and remains resistant to cultural or disease-related problems. Introduced in 1981 and bred by the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, it’s a resilient and vibrant addition to any garden, offering both beauty and ease of care.
