Description

Clematis viticella ‘Kermesina’ (1883) is a very old French cultivar, also known as ‘Rubra’, with rich rosy-red blooms accented with a white base and purple stamens. Early-season flowers may produce green tips. Clematis viticella ‘Kermesina’ is a very cold hardy variety.

Flowers 2” wide / blooms June-Sept / grows 8-12’ tall (2.5-4m) / sun to part shade / Pruning Group C / USDA zone 3 / 1-gallon pot
